WHAT IS KLORR?

  • Kuala Lumpur Outer Ring Road (KLORR) is a network of highways serves as an orbital system of ring roads around greater Kuala Lumpur areas. It provides connectivity between major towns, serves as bypasses around many large and small development regions by leaving the old roads in place to serve town or city, but allowing through travellers to continue on a wider, faster, and safer route.

  • KLORR was developed based on the study conducted by Malaysian Highway Planning Unit (HPU) and has been listed in the Highway Network Development Plan (HNDP) as one of the most important infrastructure project in Malaysia.

  • Currently the completed sections of KLORR include part of Kuala Lumpur - Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR Expressway, E 25) beginning from Templer's Park Interchange along Federal Route 1 (KL-Rawang) to the Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE, E 35 linking to Elite Expressway (E 6) from Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam to Saujana Putra, and the South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE, E 26) from Saujana Putra to Kajang.

  • In addition, KLORR connects Kajang to Ukay Perdana via the Kajang SILK Highway (E 18) and with the impending completion of the project the complete KLORR network will be formed.
